Area Pool Builder Receives National Recognition

Designer recognized among the nation’s top 25 builders
Chicago, IL –

In a special July supplement, the industry’s leading trade publication, Pool and Spa News, released its list of the 25 most inspiring pool designers in the country. Among them was local Pool Designer, Scott Pearce of Blue Water Pools and Swim Spas. He was chosen by editors of the magazine, which “scoured the nation to find pool and spa projects that inspire, elevate, and remind our readers of the beauty our industry is capable of creating,” according to Erika Taylor, Editor for Pool and Spa News.

Pearce specializes in the construction of pools using one-piece fiberglass shells. “We are seeing explosive growth in this segment of the pool industry due largely to the extremely low maintenance of our pools. I was truly honored to receive this recognition,” said Pearce. “I think this job certainly underscores our products future role in high-end and custom installations that used to be dominated by traditional concrete pools.”

Pearce’s company installs Trilogy Pools manufactured by The RTR Group, Inc. in Fayetteville, TN. Ted Baudendistel, President of The RTR Group added, “We are excited to see this national recognition and Blue Water is an outstanding company in many ways. One of our primary business goals has been to elevate the perception of fiberglass pools with consumers, and Mr. Pearce is doing just that.”

Blue Water Pools has operations in The Quad- Cities, Chicago Land Region, Muscatine Iowa, and Northwest Indiana. As a retired Gulfstream G-5 Corporate Pilot, Pearce is not your average pool builder. He is joined by partners who currently serve as captains on Boeing 757 and 737 aircraft. It is this check list attention to detail that separates Blue Water from the rest and has landed them among the top 25 builders in the nation.

Before Starting Blue Water Pools, Pearce received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration/Marketing Management. He served as a Corporate Captain for over 15 years, on the Gulfstream G-5 and other business jets. For Pearce, his company is not just a business it is an opportunity for him to promote his message of quality time in the backyard.

“I believe that our business is greater than the pools we install; it’s about quality time with family and friends. That last checklist item is definitely to leave a smiling, happy customer.” Pearce added.
